HSD Computers will participate in the upcoming Green Philippines 2011 on August 17-19, 2011 at SMX Convention Center located in Seashell Lane, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, Philippines. The said event will incorporate the Green Construct, Green Energy, Green Living & Lifestyle, and Green Manufacturing. Exhibition dates and hours are as follow: August 17, 2011-10:30 am to 6:30 pm August 18, 2011-10:30 am to 6:30 pm August 19, 2011-10:30 am to 6:00 pm We are inviting engineering and construction companies, general contractors and precast manufacturers to visit this event and drop by to our booth with booth no.1706 located at the Second (2nd ) Floor of SMX Convention Center. To provide a wide range of improvements to your workflow, Tekla Structures 17.0 will be ready to download in February 2011, making available such things as more interoperability and better use of Tekla Open API™, enhanced model-based project communication, and improved overall user experience. In addition to more colors available for object representation and more Windows-like functionality, Tekla Structures 17 will include better commenting, clash checking, organizing, viewing, snapping, and project managing tools. There is even more interoperability with leading software systems such as Unitechnik, BVBS 2.0, BETSY, ELiPLAN, SDI, Trimble Robotic Total Stations, ArchiCAD, and Autodesk Revit, improved DSTV import/export connection to CNC machinery, as well as certified support for using a 3Dconnexion mouse.  Displaying parts with higher accuracy and producing more customized, reliable and automatic drawings, Tekla Structures 17 will be the precursor to your next successful project delivery!
Furthermore, Tekla Structures 17 introduces a fresh new product image and installation icons for different versions and applications. Autodesk and Tekla work together to deliver a smoother exchange of building information across the disciplines in the building and construction industry by providing data compatibility across their respective products. Tekla and Autodesk work together to enable better compatibility between Tekla and Autodesk's respective building information modeling (BIM) software platforms. As a first step, the companies have collaborated to introduce new features that allow for the exchange of structural data between Revit and Tekla software. These features ensure that the integrity of structural BIM data is maintained from design to fabrication. The benefit will be a more consistent flow of information and BIM being easier to implement across the AEC industry. "There is an increasing demand for interoperability between our software," says Tekla Executive Vice President Risto Räty. "BIM is penetrating the industry more and more widely. Tekla and Autodesk both provide powerful applications for BIM; Tekla's strength lies in providing BIM solutions for detailing, fabrication and construction.
