Computer Aided Flat Pattern Nesting
AutoNEST is a computer aided nesting software for the optimal use of stock sheet materials. The application is suitable in shipbuilding, heavy engineering, fabrication, synthetic leather/fabric goods and furniture manufacture. AutoNEST is the solution to quick material estimation for purchasing requirements and shop floor cutting plans.
With automatic generation of nested layouts, AutoNEST reduces man-hours and maximizes material usage in different manufacturing conditions. AutoNEST-FX module enhances the output plans with detailed information on parts, stock materials, weights and cutting plan reports. AutoNEST also links with other NC software and CAD packages.
AutoNEST FX NestPro Version 8 Features
- Rectangular Parts can be inputted quickly by specifying Length and Breadth
- Accepts DXF,DWG, and DSTV format files
- DSTV files can be read and converted into AutoNEST Part files automatically. holes and slots within the DSTV files will be retained.
- Converted Part Files (from DSTV files) will be sorted according to the Material Grade and Thickness. These are automatically grouped into Tasks ready for nesting.
- Cutting Plans and Reports automatically created-nested layouts displayed with title block with full cutting information such as:
- Quantity of parts Nested
- Used Material Weight (parts nested)
- Remnant Material Weight
- Scrap Material Weight
- Total Cut Weight
- Online context-Sensitive Help
- Each part has- Material Grade, Thickness, Unit Weight, Drawing and Mark Numbers.
- Multiple-levels of Parts within Part Nesting.
- Maximum number of Distinct Parts allowed is 1000, each with a maximum quantity of 9999.
- User-definable cutting Gap, Stock Size,Material List, and TaskEdit default values.
- A new, improved dedicated nesting engine for single part.
- Link to NC software via DXF format.
- Able to display Parts in their original layers and colors.
